About Gill
Sensing a gap in the market Gill Buchanan set up Hens Dancing to provide face-to-face social groups for women in their middle years who want to get more out of life.
With a BA honours degree in Business Studies and a business background which included being marketing manager at Friends Reunited, Gill decided harness the power of the internet to bring women together so that they could make friends locally and enjoy new experiences.
Organising and promoting Hens Dancing occupies much of Gill’s time but spare time is filled with creative writing: two novels to date – and a blog. I also enjoy art house and foreign films, cooking, visiting new cities and cultures and walking in the Kent countryside, especially if there’s a good pub along the way!
